I got them in today, and I thought I would wear them tomorrow but I couldn't wait, so I'm wearing them right now...
They are perfect! They have a clasp-closure with a second button on the inside for extra security.
Unlike Volcom's shirts that run large, their shorts run small. I'm usually a 7/8 (27-29) and I bought size 9 and they fit comfortably. Loose enough that I don't have embarrassing muffin top, but tight enough to stay on my hips.
I was pretty sure that when I got them they wouldn't be the same color as in the picture. I thought they'd probably be almost a navy or dark royal blue, but nope!!! They are the exact same blue as pictured. They fit like bermuda shorts, hitting a little above the top of my knee, and the fabric is so soft and breathable, I know I'll be wearing them alllll summer.

They're cute, but they fit at least one size smaller than their sizing. My daughter wears a 9, and we ordered these in a 9. They do not come close to fitting. She can get them on, but she's fond of moving, so they don't work for her. I'd recommend them, but order one size larger.
